Cutting Widths

The Tables below show the Shape Cutting Gantry model sizes available.  The cutting width represents the base machine with one process station on the main carriage.  Adding additional torch stations/carriages will decrease the maximum single cut width capacity by the width of each station added.

When sizing a water-filled table, use the following table to insure cut capacity with all torches cutting.  Table 1-2 shows the absolute maximum cut available with 1/2" clearance at each table wall.  If the machine is equipped with multiple torches on separate carriages, but is making a cut while some torches are idle, a wider cut may be obtained by either parking the unused carriage at the end of the beam or by raising the idle torch above the height of the water table side.  The maximum width of cut for multiple torches may approach by not exceed the Single Torch cut capacity.

Cutting Lengths


The cutting length is determined by the length of rail.  Standard rail cutting lengths are listed in Tables 1-3 and 2-3.  Rail sets come complete with leveling pads, end stops, rack and a hardware kit.
